The Santa Rosa Police Department is on the hunt for several theft suspects. In a social media post from Wednesday, the department says two of the suspects stole credit cards from an elderly person at a TJ Maxx. The stolen credit cards were then used to buy thousands of dollars in merchandise from other businesses. Another suspect is similarly accused of stealing a person’s wallet at a gym and using the person’s credit cards to buy things across Sonoma and Napa Counties. In all, Santa Rosa police have released the surveillance images of 20 people suspected in recent cases of shoplifting, organized retail theft, property crimes, credit card fraud and identity theft. Since it’s posting, two suspects have been identified thanks to the public’s help.
