Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit trains are back on schedule following a fire in Marin County. SMART officials reported a fire next to the tracks in northeast San Rafael at about noon on Monday. The fire, called the Saint Vincent’s Fire, was quickly knocked down after burning about three-fourths of an acre of land. No structures were damaged and no one was hurt. The Marin County Fire Department says the fire started in a “weird place” because there are no electrical lines in the area and not many people around.
