Tomorrow marks the ten-year anniversary of the South Napa Earthquake. The magnitude six-point-oh earthquake led to one death and 200 injuries and caused an economic impact of more than a billion dollars. The earthquake along the West Napa Fault, which happened at 3:20 in the morning, did the most damage to Downtown Napa, where nearly 100 buildings were deemed unsafe in the following days. It is still the Bay Area’s most powerful earthquake since Loma Prieta in 1989.
