Rohnert Park Street Improvements-Modular Roundabout Install at Arlen Drive and Almond Street (Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety)
Rohnert Park has completed its first quick-build roundabout, a cost-effective way to slow traffic and improve safety. The new roundabout is located at Arlen Drive and Almond Street, and was installed after concerns were raised about speeding in the area by neighbors and staff from John Reed Elementary School. The Press Democrat reports that this style of roundabout can actually be moved to other locations. The city is considering building more roundabouts in the future.
