Foley Family Farms and Contractor Gets Sued Over Alleged Retaliation Against Farmworkers

Sonoma County-based winery giant and one of its vineyard management companies are being accused of retaliating against farmworkers. The California Agricultural Labor Relations Board accuses Calistoga-based Dos Viñas Vineyard Management of firing eight workers after they asked for a $1 per hour raise and started to use their three paid sick days. The workers’ supervisor was also allegedly fired related to this incident. Dos Viñas is a contractor of Foley Family Farms who is also named in the suit.
