An iconic restaurant in Petaluma will be closing its doors for good after 54 years. Cattlemens’, a cowboy-themed steakhouse, will be shutting down on December 31st. The owners of the three-acre property have sold it to a Los Angeles-based developer, which plans to demolish the restaurant and build a Chick-fil-a in its place. The plan was approved by the city of Petaluma in August of last year. The staff will be allowed to transfer to other Cattlemens’ restaurants.
