Spending in support of and against several propositions on the Sonoma County ballot is up. That’s according to the latest campaign finance reports, for September 22nd through October 19th. Measure J, which would eliminate large-scale dairy farms and poultry operations in Sonoma County, has seen about two-million-dollars raised by both sides combined. The yes on Measure I campaign has raised nearly half a million dollars this election cycle. Measure I would establish a new quarter-cent sales tax to bring more childcare to Sonoma County. Contributions in support of Measure W grew by more than 36-thousand dollars in the past month, taking the total to more than 146-thousand-dollars. Measure W would indefinitely renew the one-eighth-cent sales tax for the Sonoma County Library system.
