A driver from Healdsburg, with a license plate that read “Will Run,” will be on probation for four years.
Twenty-year-old Marcus Burton will also have his driver’s license revoked for three years. The 2023 high-speed chase ended in a crash that injured a family on Highway 101. While Burton had no criminal record at the time of the crash, last October he pleaded no contest to multiple charges, including felony evasion and child abuse.
He was facing up to four years and four months in prison.
