Cal Fire is suing PG&E for more than one-point-seven million dollars.
The lawsuit is connected with PG&E’s role in managing equipment that allegedly sparked the Old Fire in Napa County in 2022. The fire started on May 31st in Soda Canyon, south of Lake Hennessy and north of Napa, where it burned 570 acres of land. Cal Fire wants to be reimbursed for the costs of fighting and investigating the fire.
