Santa Rosa Police are investigating a tragic incident that resulted in two deaths.
On Wednesday, June 11th, Santa Rosa Police responded to a domestic violence call in the 1500 block of Atlanta Court. Upon arrival, officers heard reports of earlier gunshots. After attempts to contact occupants were unsuccessful, SWAT entered an apartment around 4:30 PM and discovered a 24-year-old female and a 24-year-old male deceased from apparent gunshot wounds in a back bedroom.
Preliminary investigation suggests this was an isolated incident between the two individuals, and police do not believe there is a continued risk to public safety.
