About three dozen Santa Rosa High School students walked out Wednesday to protest political violence and the recent assassination of activist Charlie Kirk in Utah.
Students carried signs reading “Kindness Is Real Knowledge” and “Opinions do not equal violence” while lining Mendocino Avenue, some waving American flags.
Authorities say the accused shooter, 23-year-old Tyler Robinson, held beliefs described as aligned with a “leftist ideology.”
