A fifteen-year-old boy faces multiple charges after driving under the influence and crashing a vehicle into a utility pole and a ditch in Santa Rosa.
The unlicensed teen wrecked the car Friday morning near Burbank Avenue and Liana Drive, prompting an immediate investigation. Officers on the scene determined that the minor had been drinking alcohol prior to the collision.
Following a medical evaluation at a local hospital, the teenager was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving without a license, and was subsequently released into his mother’s custody.
