More than one thousand veteran hockey players are descending on Santa Rosa as the fifty-first annual Senior World Hockey Tournament gets underway.
Running from this Friday through July 26th at Snoopy’s Home Ice, the beloved event will showcase seventy-five teams traveling in from across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Competitors range in age from forty to a remarkable eighty-nine years old, and this year’s lineup features a historic milestone with the tournament’s first-ever all-women’s division.
Local sports fans are encouraged to come out and catch all the action, as admission for spectators is completely free.
