Petaluma City Schools has officially appointed veteran local educator Gina Roberts as the new principal of Kenilworth Junior High.
The Petaluma Argus-Courier reports Superintendent Davina Goldwasser introduced Roberts, highlighting her dual perspective as both an experienced administrator and a district parent.
Roberts brings a deep background in local education, having previously served as principal of McKinley Elementary and Petaluma Accelerated Charter School. Her career with the district also includes roles as a classroom teacher, principal on special assignment, and family engagement coordinator. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from San Francisco State University and strong regional roots.
Roberts steps into the leadership post as campuses open for the 2026-27 school year, expressing excitement to build on Kenilworth’s existing programs.
