Sonoma Valley Unified School District is making some hires. The Sonoma Index-Tribune reports that beginning Monday, August 12th, the district will welcome 28 new certificated employees — including five administrators and 20 teachers — and six classified workers. This includes Troy Knox who resigned from the district’s board of trustees to serve as the director of special education. Connor Snow, who was the vice principal of Sonoma Valley High School for the past two years, will be the new principal at Altimira Middle School. Melanie Harris will be vice principal of Adele Harrison Middle School. And Sarah March will serve as vice principal at Altimira Middle School.
