The Petaluma Health Care District has rebranded itself. They’re now called Healthy Petaluma District & Foundation and their website is HealthyPetaluma.Org. It is still the same public health care district with the same mission of improving medical care access in Petaluma Valley. In fact, Healthy Petaluma and its board members are vowing to hold Providence accountable after they announced the closure of the Petaluma Valley Hospital birthing on May 1st. Nurses there are planning a protest in the front entrance of the hospital on May 1st from 4 to 6 PM.
