In this episode of The Good Stuff presented by the Sonoma County Winegrowers, hosts Virginie Boone and Karissa Kruse talk to Taylr Cuneo, General Manager at Hamel Family Wines.
About Taylr Cuneo
Taylr Cuneo is the General Manager of Hamel, where she leads the brand with a focus on thoughtful growth, hospitality, and a deeply rooted connection to wine. She had graduated from Loyola School of Business in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in business and operations management then received formal chef training at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. With over a decade in luxury leadership, she brings a refined perspective on customer experience and engagement—one that is as much about storytelling and education as it is about service. At Hamel, Taylr approaches wine as both product and narrative, shaping experiences that reflect the nuance, place, and craftsmanship behind each bottle. She oversees the brand across all channels, with an emphasis on building a modern, direct relationship between winery and consumer. Her work is driven by a belief that great wine is not only tasted, but understood—and that the most meaningful brands create space for both.
About Hamel Family Wines
Hamel creates Bordeaux-style wines from high-elevation micro-terroirs that express the energy of their volcanic soil sites in the western Mayacamas Mountains. Based out of Sonoma and focused exclusively on estate wines from Sonoma Valley and Moon Mountain District, Hamel's unwavering focus in winegrowing and winemaking is on maintaining the link between wine and its terroir.
