Docents for the Robert Ferguson Observatory Steve Smith, and KSRO President Michael O’Shea talk about the weather in reference to the viewing, define what exactly a Super Blood Moon Eclipse is, what you’ll experience when you view the eclipse, how commonly this occurs, and whether it has any effect on the Earth:

 

 

The Lunar Eclipse Star Party begins at 6pm this Sunday, January 20th. To learn more, check the Robert Ferguson Observatory’s Star Party page. The Lunar Eclipse Star Party is $5 for adults 18 and older, while parking is $8 per vehicle. Individuals 18 and under receive free admission.
