The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is expected to approve a 150-thousand-dollar contract to establish a rapid rehousing program for flood victims who live along the Russian River. The money would be used to provide displaced residents short-term rental assistance, transportation, and other services. More than 25-hundred structures were damaged in the lower Russian River area, which is one of the North Bay’s few affordable housing communities.
