Joe Rodota Trail (Sonoma County Regional Parks)
A stretch of Joe Rodota Trail that has been closed is reopened. The 2.5 mile stretch from Wright Road to Roberts Avenue in west Santa Rosa reopened Friday about a month after the county cleared a large homeless encampment there. This comes as the county opened an emergency camp on county property and, most recently, passed new camping regulations. The county also installed new features to deter further camping on the trail including iron fencing near a stretch of the trail that passes a shopping center on Dutton Avenue and boulders installed along Roseland Avenue.
