The full hour from 11-11-17

On this show travel to the southern tip of the Carneros region, or from Ram’s Gate Winery’s perspective, the gateway to Sonoma and Carneros. They’re perched on a hill above highway 121. I met with managing director David Oliver and their winemaker Jeff Gaffner to learn  about their history, their incredible wine and beautiful tasting room, and winery facility. I’ve been there before. It’s an enjoyable experience and their wine is fantastic.

Also, I revisit my interview with Frenchman Yannick Rousseau of Y. Rousseau Wines in Napa. He crafts tannat and Colombard wines, which have greater popularity in France, South America, and the Basque region of Spain than they do here. He’s hoping to change that.
