Sylvia Lemus and Caroline Banuelos, organizers of the Roseland Cinco De Mayo Festival, share the huge number of people they’re expecting this Saturday, the location and street closures to expect, why they decided to have the festival in the chosen location, the varieties of food and music you can enjoy, and the future changes coming to the Roseland neighborhood:

We also wish to thank the Santa Rosa Police Department for providing the following road closures, transportation services, and where parking is and is not available on Saturday:

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Sebastopol Road will be closed from Dutton Avenue to West Avenue from 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. West Avenue will be open for traffic.

Rosie the Trolley will provide transportation from the parking lot of Bayside Church located at 3175 Sebastopol Road, and will drop passengers off at the Roseland Elementary School. Rosie the Trolley will be in service providing fun rides from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We encourage everyone to take a ride and utilize the free and safe transportation.

Please avoid parking in the private parking lots of Dutton Plaza on Sebastopol Road at Dutton Avenue, or the Food Maxx shopping center on Stony Point Road and Sebastopol Road. These are private parking lots and vehicles may be towed at the discretion of the property managers.

Come on out and enjoy this incredible night as we celebrate together as a community. Make sure you take a moment to say hi to the Santa Rosa Police Officers walking around and ask for a badge sticker. See you there…
