Artist Aileen Cormack has created a sculpture made from remnants of a friend’s home lost in the Coffey Park neighborhood and it will be features this weekend at Burning Man.
She joins Michelle Marques (filling in for Pat Kerrigan, who returns on Monday) describes how she was one of twelve artists who were selected to feature their work, shares the entire story that went into the creation of this project, and the meaning of the sculpture for those affected by the wildfires.
