Committee Chair on Shomrei Torah’s Social Action Committee, Bruce Berkowitz, Panelist Toby Feibusch, a student at Windsor High School, and on the phone, Ryan Dietsch, a student survivor of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida all join Pat Kerrigan to invite everyone to the “March for Our Lives: From Parkland to Sonoma” at Shomrei Torah in Santa Rosa this Saturday.
Ryan begins describing how he is doing and how the recovery is going in his community since the tragic circumstances, Bruce and Toby share the ultimate goal for Saturday’s event, Toby speaks to the walkout she organized at Windsor High School, Bruce shares why Shomrei Torah decided to get involved, and Ryan finishes by detailing what he experienced when the shooting began:
The Shomrei Torah’s Social Action Film Series featuring “March for Our Lives: From Parkland to Sonoma” will be shown this Saturday, October 13th at 7pm at 2600 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa. The event is free, but due to limited parking car pooling is suggested.
