Dr. Sundari Mase
Pat Kerrigan talks with Dr. Sundari Mase, Sonoma County Public Health Officer, to clarify the recommendation of face coverings while outside the home. Dr. Mase clarified that face coverings to not need to be N95 masks – a scarf or other makeshift face covering will suffice. The main purpose of this recommendation is to help stop the communal spread of the virus for those who may be asymptomatic COVID-19 carriers. Pat also asks about testing, how Sonoma County is doing compared to other areas, and ways to stay virtually connected during the shelter-in-place.
