A group suing California to allow all indoor and outdoor sports to resume says it has reached a deal with the state that will allow high school athletes to begin playing again. For Tina Watt, a mother of two student athletes at Rocklin High School, the announcement that youth sports can return is welcome news.
Two student athletes won cases against the state in February, securing a temporary restraining order to allow youth sports to resume in San Diego County. The settlement will allow youth sports to resume statewide in counties with 14 or fewer new cases of coronavirus per one-hundred thousand people.
