North Bay hotel occupancy is showing signs of improvement but is still down. Figures released Friday by industry analytics firm STR show that Sonoma County did improve slightly in February but had a occupancy rate of 50.4%, down 28.3% from February of 2020. Improvements were also shown in neighboring Napa and Marin Counties but with occupancy rates still low at 42.3 and 42.7% respectively. Solano County occupancy remains the highest at 61.4% despite being the one North Bay county that saw a drop between the first two months this year.
