Several local movie theaters are planning to reopen this week under limited capacity. The Press Democrat reports that Santa Rosa theaters Airport Stadium 12, Roxy Stadium 14, and Summerfield Cinemas plan to open this Wednesday. Meanwhile, Boulevard 14 Cinemas in Petaluma is scheduled to open tomorrow as well and the Sebastiani Theatre in Sonoma will open on Friday. In the meantime, Reading Cinemas in Rohnert Park has already reopened. With Sonoma County in the Red Tier, movie theaters are allowed to open with 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer. Also, face masks must be worn inside except when moviegoers are eating or drinking.
