The University of California is announcing it’s administered more than one-million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to date. The UC’s started vaccinating on-campus patient-care personnel, along with housekeeping, maintenance and transportation staff in December. After vaccinating more than 90% of that initially targeted group, UC’s turned to their surrounding communities. The one-million dose mark was announced yesterday, as UC Davis Health continues to partner with community groups and local health officials to provide education, testing and vaccines to high-risk areas of the Sacramento region.
