The Napa County Sheriff will be resigning effective next month. Sheriff John Robertson submitted his resignation to the Board of Supervisors earlier this week. This marks the end of a 40-year career in law enforcement for Robertson, who will step down on June 26th. Sheriff’s Captain Oscar Ortiz was tapped by the board of supervisors to serve the rest of Robertson’s term through 2022.
