A 48-year-old Sebastopol man has been arrested for DUI after a crash this past Sunday near Sonoma Raceway. The CHP says the suspect was driving a four-wheeled off-road vehicle in the hills west of the raceway with two passengers, including a teenager, and none of the passengers were wearing seat belts. The vehicle overturned and crashed into a dirt hillside. The CHP cited the driver’s intoxicated state and the steep terrain as leading to the crash. The driver, Dennis Jamarck, suffered minor injuries while his 45-year-old passenger suffered major injuries. Both were taken to local hospitals while the teen suffered only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. The CHP determined Jamarck was driving under the influence and was arrested at Santa Rosa Memorial.
