Alumni of Analy High School are speaking out against a possible name change. They gathered in Ives Park in Sebastopol yesterday speaking out and signing petitions against changing the name of Analy High to West County High School, which itself would be a placeholder. It comes after the West Sonoma County High School District approved the closure of El Molino this past spring deciding to consolidate El Molino and Analy onto one campus. This spurred the formation of a rebranding committee for Analy High School which prompted alumni and others against the consolidation into action. Another rally against the rebranding will be held today at 6 PM at Ives Park.
