A new world record for the fastest crossing of the Pacific Ocean is being awarded to a four-man rowing crew. The team, called “Latitude 35,” arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii Wednesday evening after traveling all the way from San Fransisco. The men set sail for the Great Pacific Race on May 31st and rowed a total of 2,270 miles. They spent a total of 30 days, seven hours and 30 minutes at sea. The previous record set in 2016 took slightly longer than 39 days.
