Santa Rosa Identified as Fatal Victim in Fatal Crash South of Santa Rosa

A Santa Rosa teen has been identified as the person who died in a fiery solo vehicle crash in South Santa Rosa this past Saturday. The CHP is still working out the cause of the wreck but they say the deceased is 16-year-old Yaquelin Garcia Magdaleno, who attended Santa Rosa High. She was found by emergency officials in the Toyota Camry which was on fire and on its roof in the Bed Bath & Beyond parking lot. The Camry was going northbound on Highway 101 when it drifted into the right shoulder causing it to go into a ditch, smash through a chain link fence, and hit two trees before coming to a rest. Magdaleno as pronounced dead at the scene.
