The Dixie Fire burning in Northern California is now the second largest in state history. The blaze has burned about 490-thousand acres and destroyed hundreds of homes in four counties — Butte, Plumas, Lassen and Tehama. It’s currently only 21% contained. The cause is still being investigated, but PG&E admits it may have been sparked by their equipment. The August Complex Fire is the largest in state history, burning just under one-million-33-thousand acres last summer.
