Illegal cannabis growers are reportedly stealing water as California’s reservoirs dry out. John Nores formerly led the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Marijuana Enforcement Team:
“The Billions of gallons of water that have stolen both in and out of drought phrases in California by these trespass growers, it’s a significant impact and one that we’re constantly trying to stop,” said Nores. “To preserve not only the Golden State but the rest of the nation’s water sources.”
Nores continues his mission to educate the public about what he says are the devastating effects illegal grows and cartels are having on the nation’s wildlife, waterways, and wild lands.
