Petaluma Roommates Fight Leads to Injuries and Arrest

An argument between roommates leads to an assault and arrest in Petaluma. On Saturday morning, police responded to the 7-11 convenience store at D Street and Petaluma Boulevard South to investigate a report of a battery. Just before he came to work, the victim had a physical altercation with his roommate over money. The roommate, later identified as Harmanvir Singh, allegedly punched the victim in the head multiple times, then put a bracelet over his knuckles and hit the victim several more times. The victim was transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital by the Petaluma Fire Department for treatment of his injuries which included multiple contusions to his head and a possible concussion. Singh was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and robbery as he allegedly took the victims cell phone during the altercation.
