The Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit has picked its new general manager. Officials announced yesterday that Eddy Cumins will head the general manager position. He replaces Farhad Mansourian, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Cumins is the chief operating officer for the Utah Transit Authority, where he oversees over 2,200 employees. He is set to start with SMART on November 29th.
