The Healdsburg City Council has selected a new Mayor and Vice Mayor. This week, the council unanimously selected Ozzy Jimenez as Mayor Elect and Ariel Kelley as Vice Mayor Elect. With the vote, Jimenez becomes the 2nd ever LatinX mayor of Healdsburg. He posted on Facebook that he hopes to focus on important issues including fires, drought, equability, affordable housing, sheltering the unhoused, the pandemic and building bridges where there is divide. Jimenez and Kelley will take on their new roles in 2022.
