Police say they arrested an armed and dangerous suspect near Occidental last night following a two-hour search involving multiple law enforcement agencies. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office says officers arrested the suspect just before 8 o’clock. Police issued a Nixle alert during the search, advising residents to shelter in place or avoid the area if possible. Police are not yet revealing why they were searching for the suspect.
