A interim superintendent has been hired for West County. The West Sonoma County Union High School District has hired retired school administrator Eric Hoppes as the interim Superintendent as they continue the search for a permanent replacement. Hoppes will start on March 1st and will stay until the end of June with a daily pay rate of $600. The move comes after the district removed Toni Beal last month leaving Donald Evans as the short-term superintendent.
