A couple of good things to report in terms of the pandemic. Sonoma County now has 5,595 active cases, which is down from last month’s peak by over 21,000 cases. Similar downward trends are also being seen in test positivity and hospitalizations. Additionally, the county reports over 1-million vaccine doses have been given.
Unfortunately, there’s still some bad news with the good. Five more covid related deaths were reported, bringing the fatality total to 469.
