Meet our Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Sonoma County, Margo.
Margo is a darling 5 year old Pit bull mix, with shiny brindle fur and gorgeous brown eyes. She’s an affectionate sweetheart who loves being around people and will greet you with a nice heavy side lean, burying her head in your lap, looking for cuddles.
Margo arrived at our shelter heartworm positive, so she’s on a restricted exercise plan while receiving her treatments. This just means that she goes on short leashed walks, and gets a lot of fun mental enrichment to keep her busy, like food puzzles and chew toys!
This total love bug is searching for a loving forever family who will continue to bring her to HSSC so she can continue her heartworm treatments, while following her strict exercise plan at home until she is completely healed. We know that sweet Margo is going to make some lucky person very, very happy.
