A man from San Mateo County is accused of intentionally setting a series of fires on Roblar Drive in Novato over the weekend. Police announced Monday that 61-year-old Conn Michael Prescott was arrested Saturday on suspicion of arson and vandalism. Officers also responded to a call of someone breaking into a restaurant where witnesses reported a man damaged the front window. When officers arrived at the scene, witnesses said they believed the man had moved on next door to a dentist office where he was causing damage to equipment and the building. Police estimate damages to total $300-thousand.
