Rohnert Park Police Looking for Suspect that Assaulted Women on Bike Paths

Rohnert Park Police are looking for a man who exposed himself and touched women on bike paths. The first two reported encounters occurred this past Saturday and Sunday on the SMART Bike Path between Southwest Blvd and Rohnert Park Expressway when a man on a black mountain bike slapped two female pedestrians on the buttocks. A third encounters happened Monday morning when a woman walking to work on the Copeland Creek bike path near Snyder Lane reported a man on a bike riding towards her with his genitals exposed. The woman was able to hit the suspect with an object she was carrying which caused him to leave the area. The suspect is described as a Hispanic or mixed-race male, 18-20 years old, heavy set, curly hair and wearing glasses. He has been seen in orange shorts with smiley faces on them, and a black shirt or black sweatshirt.
