Steele and Hops brewpub in Santa Rosa is closing its doors on July 3rd. The eatery on Mendocino Avenue just north of SRJC opened 6 years ago. The owners cited struggles with recovery after pandemic shutdowns as the reason for the closure. Steele and Hops relied on foot traffic from students at the nearby college. Remote learning caused business to decline, forcing the closure.
