The era of free parking in Downtown Santa Rosa is over. Parking fees at the five parking garages in the downtown area are back, two years after they were suspended because of the pandemic. Starting today, parking fees will be enforced after one hour in the garages every day between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. There are a few exceptions, though. Parking will be free on weekends during the holiday season, and free on Sundays year-round at the Fifth and D Street garages.
