A Bay Area kayaker will be headed home soon after making history. The Marin County man, Cyril Derreumaux, is taking some time to relax in Hawaii. He reached the island this week after spending 92 days crossing the Pacific Ocean. Derreumaux is the first kayaker to ever make that trip solo. He tried it last year, but, had to be rescued because of rough water.
