Kaiser therapists are on strike for the eighth week in a row. Forty percent of Kaiser’s therapists are at the picket lines throughout the state, including several Northern California locations. They are asking for expansions in their ability to care for their patients. Kaiser officials told KCRA-TV they are reaching out to patients about getting care from other therapists or speaking to primary care doctors, who they say are trained to screen mild mental health conditions.
