There’s a new warning for Californians receiving inflation relief checks. Scammers are sending texts to try and steal that money. The message urges people to click a link to activate their refund debit cards, but that just leads to a website where thieves can access personal information. An attorney in Los Angeles says he got such a text and is now warning others. His video statement urges anyone else who gets it to simply hit delete.
